Ten Seconds Studio Blog on Elitia Hart

I’ve met so many people over the course of my life in retail, and no, I don’t remember all of their names. I barely remember my name sometimes.

On our last certification workshop we had a woman whose name is Elitia Hart enroll and Elitia is from Canada. When she signed up she had included her website which I check out and immediately thought “why is she coming to this?”

I even called her and asked her “why are you coming to this?” She laughed and said, “well, I want to learn something from you!”

I have to say we both learned something from each other and I was so glad she attended.Elitia       does the most fabulous work and it looks so beautiful. It takes a lot to impress me. Sometimes I want to pluck my eyeballs out when I see a layout with beach photos and the entire layout has flowers and bows on it. It’s not that I don’t like flowers, but they need to make sense. These flowers make sense…and you know why I like them the most…they’re silver with no color. This is beautiful.

Now take this same flower but add a leaf stem from our Kabuka Shrine mold and you have a completely different look.

A slight amount of color has been added to the metal with some alcohol ink.

I think what makes this sample is the softness of the piece.

Elitia teaches classes in Canada and if you’re lucky enough to take a class you will learn more than you thought you would.

This is one of our Big Daddy molds and can I say, “I LOVE THIS!”

I had to do a double take and thought that’s Big Daddy #6.

This piece looks so modern and sleek, and what a great way to incorporate photos/drawings, bits of metal and paper into one piece.

Elitia, I’m so glad you came to Texas and shared your time with us last year, you certainly inspire me.

We’ve gotten quite a few comments from newbies in the last several months so we decided to showcase our basics on today’s video. We hope this inspires you.
